Welcome to the world of Casa Frida

A Mexican love at first sight

It all began about fifteen years ago. Armed with only my backpack, I arrived in Mexico, unaware that this journey would change my life. In the colorful markets, I experienced a true visual and cultural shock. Captivated by the richness of the craftsmanship, I discovered a world where Virgins stand alongside multicolored skulls, and every object tells a vibrant story.

Mexican Craftsmanship : A committed passion

After living in Mexico, I felt a deep desire to share this passion upon my return to France. Casa Frida was born from this vision: to support traditional craftsmanship and offer you a piece of the Mexican soul. Sacred hearts, trees of life, ex-votos, and Huichol art... I carefully select each piece for its rarity and quality. Here, religious art is embraced for its mystical aesthetic, making these objects accessible to everyone, whether religious or not.

Oilcloth : An everyday icon

A staple in Mexico, oilcloth is at the heart of our collection. With its vintage patterns and brilliant colors, it is much more than a simple tablecloth: it is a symbol of conviviality and durability. Whether used for a table or creative projects, it brings a touch of sunshine and cheer to your home.

Our Commitment : Human and Fair Trade

Since the beginning of Casa Frida, I have placed paramount importance on the privileged relationships built over the years with artisans from every corner of Mexico. By working hand in hand with them, we value meticulous work and ancestral expertise. In the spirit of fair trade, each artisan is paid fairly. My ambition is to enable them to live with dignity through their art, so they can continue to pass on their traditions and talent to future generations.
