Alejandro Nuñez is a young Mexican painter and printmaker. His favorite subjects are animals, especially birds and pigs.
Touched by the environmental situation in Mexico, he illustrates his concerns about the future by putting life and death in close relationship. The result is technically mastered works that seduce by their dark aesthetic.
His prints are made from his engravings on lino or wood.
Al Acecho, "In the hiding place", is an original linocut which depicts an owl hidden by the darkness of the night.
