Milagros are folk religious pendants. In Mexico, they are traditionally used for healing purposes and as votive offerings, as a sign of gratitude for a response to a prayer.
Generally they are hanged to altars, statues and sacred objects in the churches.
Milagros accompany a healing prayer for a particular organ or function, but they can also symbolize an idea. The interpretations are varied.
